In February 2024, our board approved three new grants in our Focus Area 1 on Financial Integrity:
- Redress
- £35,000 pa x 3 years for work on sanctions and asset recovery.
- The Ferret
- £35,000 x 1 yr for investigations into illicit finance related to Scotland.
- Transparency International UK
- £50,000 pa x 3 yrs for work on the UK’s role as a global centre for dirty money.
Our board also approved a grant of £100,000 to the Liliesleaf Trust UK funded by a generous bequest from Vanetta Joffe.
In May 2024, our board approved three new grants in our Focus Area 1 on Financial Integrity:
- The Centre for the Study of Corruption, University of Sussex
- £23,000 pa x 3 yrs to connect academia in to the UK anti-corruption ecosystem.
- The Foreign Policy Centre
- £35,000 x 1 yr to address the UK professions’ enabling environment for corruption.
- Tax Justice UK
- £35,000 pa x 3 yrs to tackle the UK’s dirty money and tax avoidance problem.
