In January 2020, the Joffe Trust ran its second retreat on tax reform and fighting corruption.

The retreat, held in Great Missenden (UK), brought together leading UK activists in these fields. We’re delighted that some colleagues from outside the UK also joined us.

Together, participants developed proposals for collective work over the next five years. They identified objectives and approaches for engaging with the UK’s new government, informed by expert speakers.

Six funder representatives also joined the last session. Everyone involved was keen to keep the strategic discussion going, fine tune the proposals and put them into action.
